7 Pi-Con is looking for people
to work on this year’s convention!
We’ve ended up short-handed, and need new additions to our volunteer staff. We especially need people to take on the jobs described below, but if you want to work on something else related to the convention, please let us know!
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about any of these positions.

Head of Publicity will also coordinate people performing specific small publicity tasks (posting flyers, sharing links to Pi-Con, etc).

Recruit and communicate with potential vendors (including our pool of past dealers) about selling their wares at Pi-Con.
Take forms, make sure payments are made, and ensure that we have a good balance of vendors that will ensuresatisfaction for both the dealer’s outlay and our attendees having a diverse selection of shopping options. Attend to special needs that our dealers may have (like arranging furniture removal from vendor rooms)
Be the main point of contact for our Guests of Honor.
Arrange travel, make sure they’re happy with their schedule, solicit pictures and bios for the website and conbook, and troubleshoot any issues that come up before and during the con.
If you want to help but don’t see your area of interest on this list, please contact us. We have plenty of other opportunities for both new and experienced volunteers.
