9Pi-Con: July 31-August 2, 2015
The Location: Sheraton Hotel at Bradley Airport,
Windsor Locks, CT
We need you! From the ConChair to the people minding the OneDesk, everyone who works on Pi-Con is an unpaid volunteer, and we always need more folks to help out. You can get (deeply) involved in planning the convention, or just give an hour or two during the con weekend itself. Any amount of volunteer time will earn the undying gratitude of the convention committee.
Why should I volunteer for Pi-Con?
Get a t-shirt! Volunteers who put in six or more hours will get an awesome 9Pi-Con Last Slice of Pi T-Shirt.
It’s a chance to meet people! Volunteering at a con is a great way to get to see your friends, or meet new ones. Working at the OneDesk means you see everyone at the con go by; helping with load-in or load-out lets you see the backstage workings of the con.
Free Membership to an awesome upcoming Con! Traditionally, we have offered volunteers free admission to the next year’s Pi-Con, but 9Pi-Con shall be the last slice of Pi. So, we have partnered with some other awesome events, so that if you volunteer for at least 10 hours, you can get free admission to one of these awesome events:
Steampunk Worlds Fair
